What is Boot Camp?

- This is a high energy class combining cardio drills and resistance training designed to build strength and stamina through intense intervals over a 1 hour period. Boot Camp training often begins with dynamic stretching and running, followed by timed segments that include lifting weights, jumping, push-ups, sit-ups, plyometrics and various types of explosive drills. Sessions usually finish with light and restorative stretching. Everyone works at their own pace, and you may be teamed up, either in pairs or small groups during class.

What are the Benefits of Boot Camp?– Benefits include the loss of body fat, increased cardiovascular health, increased strength, and it offers participants added social support providing a different environment for those exercisers who get bored in a gym.

What to Bring: Boot Camps are sometimes organized outdoors. Wear clothing suitable for current weather conditions. We recommend comfortable workout attire with warm up gear so you can tear off layers as class intensity increases. Normal tennis shoes, a water bottle and towel are encouraged.

Fitness Level: Adaptive to all levels. Beginners Welcome! Geared toward all fitness levels.
