Personal Training
If your workout needs work, consider a Personal Trainer!
A certified personal trainer is someone who has the expertise, educational background and diagnostic know-how to design an individualized exercise program to help you reach your goal in the shortest time possible.
Motivation:
A trainer will help you develop the incentive to stick to your exercise plan knowing that you need to exercise regularly and make each session count.
Guidance:
A Trainer will teach you correct form, which will maximize efficiency and effectiveness, and minimize the chance of injury. As your fitness improves, your trainer will fine-tune your program to meet your changing needs and make sure you continue to get results.
Convenience:
No time to exercise? You and your trainer can figure out a schedule that will work for you. Together, you can brainstorm ways to overcome the obstacles that stand between you and your goals.
Injury Rehabilitation:
Injuries & accidents can prevent you from participating in your favorite activities. An experienced trainer can make the road to recovery a smooth one by recommending exercises that emphasize overall muscular balance to prevent future injuries.
Special-Needs Training:
Research confirms that individuals with health challenges such as diabetes, asthma, osteoporosis or heart disease benefit greatly from regular physical activity. These conditions can make exercising safely a challenge. We have trainers that are experienced in designing programs that address the special needs of these and other conditions.
| has been with the Fitness Edge since it first opened, first as a member and since 2005, as a fitness instructor. I love working out in a group setting and strive to bring that same enjoyment to all the participants I encounter. I make every effort to have members challenge themselves while recognizing and performing within their abilities. I receive immense pleasure in seeing people reap the physical & mental benefits of exercise Email me: lhentz@thefitnessedgenh.com |

| Kate Prantis - I'm originally from Colorado but have lived in NH for the past five years. I had my own business in Colorado teaching private swim lessons before moving to NH five years ago. I was first a member of the Fitness Edge before becoming certified as a Spin Instructor. I loved teaching spinning so much that I decided to further my fitness education and became certified as a personal trainer. I also teach group and private swim lessons to children and adults as well as after school, and Karate to school age children. My full time job and passion is being a mother to my two daughters, Lydia and Mary, ages 11 and 9. My interests also include biking, swimming, skiing, kite-boarding and competing in triathlons. I hope this summer to begin a fun children's triathlon training program at the Fitness Edge. |
