What is HIIT?


HIIT is high intensity interval training.  At The Fitness Edge, you will find elements of HIIT training in Strong Nation, Pyramid Strength, possibly Bootcamp and in HIIT.  One popular version of HIIT is Tabata- this is a dynamic conditioning experience consisting of 20 second bouts of high intensity training followed by 10 seconds of rest. HIIT requires as much mental strength as it does physical strength. HIIT is known to be a time-saving workout that shapes your entire body by maintaining a higher post workout metabolism..

What are the benefits of HIITT?

HIIT is proven to transform bodies. Many often think HIIT is simply tabata but that is just one style of HIIT.  This high-intensity training is fun, blasts calories, and moves quickly. HIIT will increase your athletic performance, boost cardio ability and decrease your body fat. Build mental muscle and be shocked when you excel passed your limits.

What to bring:

We recommend comfortable workout attire. Normal tennis shoes, a water bottle and towel are encouraged. 

Fitness Level:

Adaptive to all levels. Beginners welcome! Geared toward moderate to highly fit.
